How is the ecological transformation spatially implemented in architecture and urban design? Which networks, strategies, and spaces are driving this transformation forward? In Oldenburg, numerous actors are shaping an ecological building culture. Women and marginalized genders in particular are making essential contributions that have so far received little visibility. Their work creates resilient, regenerative spaces and social networks that enable the transition toward sustainable urban development. The exhibition Eco Agencies Oldenburg investigates these actors and their strategies through a combination of video interviews, spatial mappings, and axonometric representations. Students map ecological networks and document spatial interconnections. A digital platform links maps, drawings, and audio files into an open archive. The presentation at the WIA Festival 2025 in Oldenburg on June 19 offers professionals from architecture, urban design, and environmental sciences a platform for discussing regenerative approaches. The exhibition highlights gender-equitable perspectives in ecological building culture and contributes to a differentiated debate on regenerative urban development.
